September 26-28

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone had a restful weekend.

This past week was very successful and the kids had a great listening week :)

Monday I was away with the golf team.

Tuesday I was away.

Thursday was Terry Fox. So we only had 2 PE classes this week!

Junior Kindergarten - On Wed it was BEAUTIFUL outside, so we went outside to have some free play!
Friday - We played Red Light, Green Light, and I taught the kids What Time is it Mr. Wolf! Both these games are fantastic games to see if the child is following the rules and listening to instructions!

Senior Kindergarten - On Wednesday the children had asked me nicely to play Monsters Inc. Since it was a casual day, the kids needed to burn off some energy so we played Monsters Inc and Pacman!
On Friday the kids played What Time Is It Mr. Wolf!

Grade 1 - On Wed we played Monsters Inc! The kids were flossing away! Their dancing is so hilarious!
On Friday the kids wanted to play pac man and mission impossible.

Grade 2 - Wednesday the kids wanted to play Monsters Inc!
We had our cross country try outs on Friday!

Grade 3 - Unfortunately in Grade 3 this week, we only had Ms. Foti's class. They played Mission Impossible Dodgeball and had their Cross Country try outs.

Grade 3 IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
This week we will be going to the AC! PLEASE do not forget your gym clothes, running shoes, and a jacket! Bring your water bottle as well.

Sept 17-21

Good Evening everyone

I hope you're having a great weekend.

I'm the Golf Coach for SJA and I was away Friday and will be away Monday as well with the team for our qualifying championship!!! October 1st is the championship tournament and I'm hoping the girls will make it!

JK - We are continuing learning about rules and instructions in gym.
Mon-Wed - We played ZooKeeper and Monsters INC which is a game like musical chairs where the kids have to dance and when the music stops, they have to run to a mat. Each round a mat will be taken away!

We went outside on thursday to have some free play time! The kids would have to stop whenever Ms. Yustin blew her whistle to practice understanding what the whistle meant! The kids also had a dance party outside :)

SK - Monsters INC, Zookeeper, Pacman Tag!
The kids are doing an amazing job at listening! I'm very impressed with the SKs this year! They've gotten all their STARS each class as well! Keep up the great work SK!

Grade 1 - We're working on Sportsmanship. We are playing Monsters INC, Pacman, and freeze dance! The kids love ship to shore as well which is an instructional based game where the "Captain" tells the pirates what to do :)

Grade 2 - We are continuing playing games with lots of instructions and rules so that the kids can practice getting

Grade 3 - We have begun our cross country practice as I am making the SJA team in the next few weeks.
The kids ran 10 laps around the turf field outside.
We also played dodgeball this week! The kids have fallen in love with the game!
