Jan 22-26

Good Evening,

I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend!

This past week was really fun with the K-Grade 2's. We were able to get some gym time even though the High School exams are running until this Wednesday! I focused this week on balance and coordination as we didn't have the space to do a sport!

With the little space we had I taught the kids a game called "Ice Cream Cone" where the kids are asked to pair up and they're given a pylon and a balloon. The 1 partner has to pass the balloon off his/her ice cream cone and the partner has to catch the balloon on their cone.

I also had the kids participate in gonoodle which is an online workout/ dace program for classes to compete against themselves for points and new characters!

The kids participated in Yoga on Friday as well. I had the kids each choose a theme on cosmic kids and the kids followed a 30 minute exercise!

We will once again be in the classroom for gym until High School exams are completed and then we will be back in the auditorium again for our units!
