Grade 2 - We played Dodgeball and did our cross country try outs!

Grade 3 - Health - We learned about the 5 food groups, did a cross word puzzle finding words and categorizing it.

Welcome Post

Good Afternoon Everyone,

It was such a pleasure to meet and see a lot of you on Monday evening!

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Alexandra Yustin and this is my second year at SJA teaching the PYP Physical Education program.
I have a passion for athletics, sports, staying active and healthy, and I can't wait to share my passion with the SJA community this year.
I will be teaching JK - Grade 3 PE and Health everyday and I am also the Lunch Coordinator.

A bit about myself: I went to Brock University for my Bachelor of Arts in Child Psychology and I have a Bachelor of Education in Primary/Junior specializing in the ELKP Inquiry Based Kindergarten program.
Once I was done teachers college, I was hired as an elementary physical education and math teacher at Pickering College.
The following year, I decided to go back to school at night time and get my Montessori Kindergarten diploma and taught the Montessori program during the day.
Last year the opportunity came for me to teach PE here at SJA and I couldn't wait to be back teaching my passion of Phys Ed.
In May I started my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership focusing on Leadership in Learning.

I can't wait to work with all of you this year and check out my blog weekly to see the cutest pictures of your kids playing in PE!

Kindest Regards,
Alexandra Yustin
